Paddy Pimblett HATES This UFC Fighter MORE Than Ilia Topuria! (UFC 324) (2026)

In the fiery world of MMA, rivalries are common, but Paddy Pimblett has stirred the pot, revealing a level of animosity that goes beyond the already heated feud with Ilia Topuria. But who could possibly be the target of such strong feelings?

Pimblett, the former Cage Warriors champion, is on the cusp of a major fight against Justin Gaethje for the interim lightweight title at UFC 324. This bout could potentially set the stage for a unification match with Topuria. However, Pimblett's rapid rise, moving from number nine to number five without a fight, has sparked controversy.

And this is the part most people miss... The situation has left one fighter, Arman Tsarukyan, seemingly sidelined, despite his high ranking in the division. With Topuria's future uncertain, the landscape is complex.

Pimblett's Unexpected Target: Arman Tsarukyan

Pimblett, known for his strong opinions, has declared that he dislikes Arman Tsarukyan even more than Ilia Topuria. This revelation came during a video on Tom Aspinall’s channel, where Pimblett expressed his strong feelings. Even one of Pimblett’s coaches noted that, out of context, his comments could apply to many people.

“I just don’t like him anyway, I’ve always thought he’s a piece of s—,” Pimblett stated. “I think I hate him more than Ilia now, lad.”

Why the Hatred?

While the rivalry with Topuria has a long history, Pimblett's dislike for Tsarukyan seems to stem from the Armenian fighter's attitude and background. Pimblett criticizes Tsarukyan, suggesting he has had things handed to him due to his family's wealth.

“He’s great to laugh at, Arman lad,” Pimblett continued. “He’s just one of them lads who thinks because his family has got money he’s got everything handed to him on a plate for years. ‘Oh it’ll just happen in the UFC’, like he’s been told.”

The Controversy: Tsarukyan's Perspective

Tsarukyan was overlooked for a title shot, despite being the No. 1 contender. He even made weight as a UFC 317 backup and secured a win against Dan Hooker. Pimblett also criticizes Tsarukyan for withdrawing from a fight with Islam Makhachev due to a 'bad back,' and for choosing a favorable matchup against Dan Hooker.

“He f—ing pulled out of that Islam Makhachev fight with a ‘bad back’ when really he just couldn’t make weight. Then he got offered to fight Mateusz Gamrot and said no, then took the most favorable matchup against Dan Hooker who can’t grapple to save his mam’s life.”

Who do you think will come out on top at UFC 324: Justin Gaethje or Paddy Pimblett?
